Dinosaurs: The Return of Giants
Pavillion of Knowledge - Lisbon, Portugal
26/10/2022 - 01/10/2023

I created 26 digital 2D illustrations of Portuguese Dinosaurs and Pterosaurs, with enought detail to be printed in life-size for the exhibit. The largest, Lusotitan, was printed at a staggering 12 meters in height!

ILLUSTRATIONS
Nujalikodon cassiopeiae
June, 2025
I illustrated the newly described Nujalikodon cassiopeiae gen. et sp. nov., the earliest known docodontan mammaliaform, found in the Earliest Jurassic (Hettangian) rocks of Eastern Greenland's Rhaetelv Formation. This illustration was commissioned by paleontologist Sofia Patrocínio and used in the scientific article describing this new taxon.

Toothy Pterosaurs!
March, 2024
I illustrated an indeterminate Gnathosaurine and an indeterminate Rhamphorhynchine, based on Lusognathus almadrava and Rhamphorhynchus muensteri respectively. These illustrations were commissioned by paleontologist Alexandra Fernandes and were used in a congress poster presented at PaleoSpring Meeting 2024.

Docodonta indet. & Rhaetelv Formation
January, 2024
I illustrated a putative Docodont from Late Triassic/Early Jurassic Greenland and a couple of the animals that lived alongside it, for the Master's Thesis of paleontologist Sofia Patrocínio.

Crocodylomorphs of Lourinhã
ca. November 2019
I illustrated 5 Upper Jurassic crocodylomorphs from Portugal for the news of the publication of the article 'Palaeobiodiversity of crocodylomorphs from the Lourinhã Formation based on the tooth record: insights into the palaeoecology of the Late Jurassic of Portugal' in the newspaper Público.

Cardiocorax mukulu

I illustrated the elasmosaurid plesiosaur from Angola, Cardiocorax mukulu, for the news of the description of a new specimen, in the article 'The cranial anatomy and relationships of Cardiocorax mukulu (Plesiosauria: Elasmosauridae) from Bentiaba, Angola', in the newspaper Público.
